Hades 2 has multiple resources to collect, used for unlocking weapons, Arcana Cards, and various upgrades.
Ash
- Usage: Primary material for unlocking Arcana Cards
- Source: Defeating enemies, completing areas
- Best Farm: Repeatedly run Area 1
- Speed Tip: Use Harvest Arcana to increase gains
Psyche
- Usage: Upgrading Grasp cap
- Source: Boss drops, special encounters
- Best Farm: Defeat Chronos
- Speed Tip: Prioritize boss fights for Psyche
Glass
- Usage: Unlocking advanced weapons and upgrades
- Source: Area 2 enemy drops
- Best Farm: Farm Area 2
- Speed Tip: Large amounts after defeating Cerberus
Gold
- Usage: Purchasing items and resources from shop
- Source: Defeating enemies, selling excess resources
- Best Farm: Use Harvest Arcana
- Speed Tip: Prioritize enemies with gold markers
Recommended Resource Farming Routes
Beginner Resource Route
Suitable for the first 30 runs of resource accumulation.
- Route 1: Area 1 → Chronos → Return (repeat)
- Route 2: Area 1 → First half of Area 2 → Return
- Setup: Harvest Arcana + Hanged Man Arcana
- Yield: ~50-100 Ash + 20-50 Gold per run
Mid-Game Resource Route
For players who have unlocked the basic setup.
- Route: Area 1 → Area 2 → Cerberus
- Setup: Standard combat build + Harvest
- Yield: ~100-200 Ash + 50-100 Glass + 30-50 Psyche per run
Efficient Farming Tips
- Room Selection: Prioritize resource reward rooms over combat rooms
- Trading: Exchange excess resources for what you need at the Crossroads
- Timely Retreat: Don't push to the end every run, exit early to accumulate resources
